I saw on twitter pictures of public housing unit built for low income earners in Angola as posted by Mr Eta U. @royaltyuso.
This initiative
is being practised in most developed countries and seeing Angola follow this
route is quite impressive.
It will
really go a long way for Nigerian low income earners if the Nigerian government
adopts this. If implemented, it will also provide employment opportunities,
promote integration and a more dedicated workforce.
Nigerian low
income earners are in dire need of good affordable housing. If we can provide
such units in the 36 states without the usual bureaucracy, it will definitely help
in solving the housing crises in Nigeria especially for low income earners and
also for the unemployed.
Are there
similar schemes in your state?

Ajuju....similar schemes ke??? No be d same naija we dey??? It's a good initiative anyway...
ReplyDeleteI bet you that the low income group in Angola will be unable to buy those so called low income houses. In Nigeria as far as I know, there have been loads of affordable estates built particularly in Abuja. No low income earner can afford them though, at best, civil servants with their minimum wage buy them through Ministry cooperatives set up by the civil servants. Others are bought up by thieving senior civil servants, politicians and non-low income earners :-)
