As we show our
condolences to our American brothers and sisters, let us also not forget our
other brothers and sisters that are being innocently killed for various
reasons, even in African countries especially by people who have pledged to
protect them. In Naija for example, the police has been accused of killing
innocent citizens on various occasions.
Recently, in Italy a
Nigerian man was killed because of his skin colour. Let us not forget the
racial attacks on black Africans living in India or the xenophobia in South
Africa and other countries. Even people with white skin have also been racially
abused in Europe.
Abeg my people, let
us all learn to respect one another because human beings irrespective of
colour, height, weight etc. are here to stay and would continue to live side by
side. We should also teach the younger generations to have mutual respect and
tolerance rather than passing down ancestral hate to them.

It's a shame that this crime is being perpetrated by law enforcement agents. The policeman in nigeria with gun in his hand and close to no training could work wonders but American police? It's obvious that these guys are so deluded in their hate that they did not even see the little child in the vehicle. One can only pray for justice and peace for we cannot turn back time neither do we know what these policemen are on these days. God bless America.
ReplyDeleteNobody deserves an untimely death, regardless of the colour of their skin or their beliefs. The USA is boiling. More shootings have now occurred in Michigan a few hours ago. Children are not born prejudiced, whether they're from India,South Africa, USA, Nigeria or the UK. They're changed by their milieu; upbringing, circumstances, exposure, and society sees these changes as they become adults. The cycle continues.
