An Act
of Kindness

An act of kindness will go a long way for so many people worldwide. So where ever you are a smile, a hello, a phone call, a text message, a small tip, an advice, a shoulder, a handshake, a hug and so many other things will be greatly appreciated by that stranger, friend, family, neighbour, orphans, widows, motherless, the old, fatherless, those in need and those hurting in one way or the way. Your smile and kind words might save a soul contemplating suicide and encourage someone who has given up.

I have been shown lots of kindness and I do my best to extend
same to people. Have you benefited from an act of kindness or put a smile on someone’s
face by your kind gesture? So why don’t we all use this season of lent to
exhibit an act of kindness towards one another.
Especially this season for anyone who is a Christian, it's a great time to reflect and be kinder and more present. That's what I will try to do this season of Lent. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteAs i read this im reminded of Hebrews 13:2 which says "Do not neglect to show hospitality (kindness) to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." You just never know who could be in the midst of us and what an honour it would be to entertain heavenly creatures.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, i have found that when im kind to others, i feel better, about my sometimes burdonesome situations and about myself. I feel light because i have made someone elses day better. Therefore the result is twofold, positive for both myself and them.
