Checks lighting, phone angled
to various dimensions to get the best shots, strikes a pose, takes snap shots, views image and
posts. Angry, upset, excited rushes to social media to update or to rant.
We have glimpsed and have been
made participants to the various social media brouhaha. Sometimes we waka pass,
smile, laugh or cringe at the various posts.
Why bring our personal drama
to Instagram, twitter, Facebook and the rest? Since when did the word ‘private’
actually mean public? There have been lots of drama emanating from social
media. So why do we complain when we post our private matters out there for
people?
If there was no social media
what would have happened? I get it that it is theirs to flaunt, talk about etc.
Lots of times we, families and
friends get hurt from all our shenanigans on social media. So before you hit
the send button gather sense and read through or better still learn to keep
certain things ‘private’. If we don’t let us learn to have the courage to endure
whatever comments come our way or claim subtly that it was hacked. Abeg my
people wetin una think?
If you must post, then it's advisable one develops a thick skin towards negative comments.cos definitely some people are actually ready to ruin ur day with their comments.
